.Sometimes hair is too long to create an updo by yourself. But you can still get the hair up and off your face with a lovely ponytail. To make this work, your hair needs body. Here's a great way to add waves without using rollers: Lauren dampened her hair, then divided it up into sections, twisting each section onto itself until it knots at the scalp. She secured each knot with a bobby pin.
.Dry each section with a hair dryer for about 20 to 30 seconds per section.
.Take out the bobby pins and let the hair fall into waves. Begin to pull hair up and off your face.

.Brush hair back in a tight ponytail. Use hairspray as needed to smooth flyaways. Secure hair with a ponytail holder.
.Create a hair accessory using your own hair. Wrap a section around the ponytail holder and secure it with a large hair pin. 6.Tuck up tendrils left by the ends of your hair.
This sleek hairstyle works for any day or evening event!
