  1. Nancy just washed her naturally curly hair, but has no time to blow-dry it all straight.
  2. No problem, says Joelle. She recommends Nancy simply blow-drys the "T-zone" of her hair -- the first three inches of her crown and the hair around her face.
  3. Pull the straightened hair back loosely with a rubber band. Get dressed or apply makeup while the rest of the hair dries naturally.
  4. Take the rest of the hair back into a second pony tail with your hands. Instead of securing it with a rubber band, twist it toward the upper ponytail, allowing your natural curls to peek over the top of your head. When it's twisted up to directly underneath the upper ponytail, secure it with bobby pins.
  5. For a final touch, use your fingers to spread and arrange the curls. Use hairspray liberally as needed.
