Products you'll need:

Goldwell Oxycream bleach, Colorance Mahogany 4R with dedicated developer and Colorance 6BR with dedicated developer; Treat Elite Cutting Lotion, Wash Elite shampoo, Resurrect conditioner, Diamond Heads Cuticle Sealer, Stay Straight Balm and Wacks, all by Paul Brown Hawaii.

1. Begin the cut by combing down the section below the occipital and cutting straight across, chipping into the ends. Then extend the line into the sides, again cutting straight across with the tips of the shears. Work up to the crown with this technique.
2. Working on either side, bring horizontal partings to be cut to the perimeter line until reaching a top center parting. Finally, add slight asymmetry to the fringe with diagonal cut.

4. Working on one side of the zigzag center line, take a fine diagonal slice at the fringe and brush it with powder bleach mixed with 20-volume developer. Work through both top sections, back to the crown, with back-to-back diagonal slices. In the back crown, take a vertical row of woven sections.
5. Between crown foils and at the back, apply mahogany demipermanent color from roots to ends. After 1 20-minute process, shampoo lightly, skipping the conditioner.
6. The bleached sections are toned with a demipermanent violet-red and processed for 20 minutes, followed by a shampoo, condition and style.
