Oxyplatin OP with 30-volume developer for lifter, Colorance 6K with dedicated developer between foils and Top Chic KK Mix with 10-volume developer for toner, all by Goldwell; Resurrect conditioner and Wash Elite, Stay Straight Balm, Treat Elite leave-in conditioner, DIamond Heads cuticle sealer, SXGel, Shine Amplifter, and flat iron, all by Paul Brown.

1. Kevin removes excess length by cutting at shoulder level, then, starting at the front hairline, directs side and top sections forward to be cut. He works toward the crown.
2. To blend the back crown, he lifts vertical partings and point cuts the ends. He blends through the crown and occipital in this manner.
3. For the color, he starts by taking heavy diagonal slices at the fringe. He paints these with powder bleach (mixed with 30-volume developer). Heavy slices are taken all the way back to the crown.
4. At the back, Kevin switches to woven sections placed in staggered diagonals.
5. Between foils he applies a demipermanent copper. After a 20-minute process and shampoo, he tones at the shampoo bowl with a fashion copper mixed with 10-volume developer.
